Qidza’s Privacy Policy

(1) Introduction

The Qidza website (we refer to this as our website), application or “app” that we run on our website for registered users, and services—provided by us (Qidza, Inc., a Delaware corporation that we also refer to in this Privacy Policy as “Qidza”)—enable parents, guardians, and other legal caregivers to assess and monitor the cognitive development of their children. We know you are concerned about your privacy, so we developed this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use and disclose information from and/or about you when you use our services or are simply visiting our website.
Our website is not directed at children under age 18, but is directed to their parents and other legal guardians with the right to provide the information required for our website (we call all of these people caregivers). Children are not eligible directly to use our service. If you are under age 18, please do not attempt to use our services or provide any personal information about yourself to us, but instead discuss with your parents or other caregivers why our services interest you. If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under age 18, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.   1. How We Collect Your Information

(a) Personal Information. We may collect and store the following personal information when you choose to register with Qidza or communicate with us through our website or app:

  • Health information related to you or your child including medical records, age, gender, health background, health status, prescribed and over-the-counter medications, healthcare provider notes and diagnoses, medical ID number, driver’s license number, laboratory testing results, insurance information, video content scoring information, and other information relating to the video content that you provide.
  • Personal information related to you or your child, such as your names or email address.
  • Videos that you upload in order to receive our services.
  • Information provided to us by your child’s healthcare providers (upon proper authorization from you).
  • Your Interaction with our website or app, as further described in our Terms of Use.
  • De-identified information. This is the information that remains when we remove from your personal information the information that personally identifies you or your child.

(b) Visitor Information. This is what we collect from users who have not registered with us yet:

  • Personal information shared when you choose to communicate with us through our website, app, or by sending us email.
  • Anonymous information described below.

(c) Information We Collect When You Interact with our Website or App.

As you use our website, app, or services, certain information may be collected through cookies, by navigating from page to page, or via third party tracking. This information includes:

  • Website activity information, such as the content of searches you perform.
  • Anonymous device and browser information, such as your Internet protocol address, browser type, and access times.
  • We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies to make our website and services easier to use, to improve our advertising, and for development activities. You can set your browser options to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, you will not be able to stay logged in to our website.
  • We use Google Analytics to help analyze how users use our website. The information collected may include things like how often users visit our website or what pages they view, and what other websites they visit. We use the information from Google Analytics to improve our website and services, and to improve our advertising. Google Analytics does not track your name or other personally identifying information aside from your IP address and the date.   • Third-Party Account Login: You may choose to have additional access to our Site or App by logging in via a third-party account (“Third-Party-Account Login”) such as Facebook, Inc. If you choose to login via a Third-Party-Account Login, that Third-Party-Account Login provider’s terms of use and privacy policy will apply to the use of your that login. Depending on the Third-Party-Account Login provider, we may receive basic information about you such as, but not limited to, your name, email, gender, birthday, current city, and profile picture URL.
  • Download Data Collected. When you download our App we automatically collect the number of downloads of our App, the number of updates, and the App ratings.
  • Traffic Data Collected. We may automatically track and collect the following categories of information when you visit our Site or App: (1) IP addresses; (2) domain servers; (3) types of computers accessing the Site; and (4) types of web browsers used to access the Site (collectively “Traffic Data”). Traffic Data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you but is helpful for marketing purposes or for improving your experience on the Site.
  • GeoLocation. When you visit the mobile application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city you are located within and display a location map with relevant advertisements. We will not share your current location with other users or partners.

And lastly, whether we collect personal information or anonymous information (information that does not identify you or your child) may depend on whether or not a user is logged in.

  1. How We Use Your Information

(a) Caregiver Information. When it comes to authorized caregivers who sign up for our services, we use your information to:

  • Administer your account.
  • Process your payments and fulfill your orders.
  • Verify your identity.
  • Provide you with our services and customer support.
  • Tailor features, performance, and support.
  • Market services we believe may be of interest to you.
  • Respond to requests, resolve disputes, and/or troubleshoot problems.
  • Share your information with third parties you authorize, including your clinicians.
  • Training of our Qidza evaluation specialists and quality control relating to their scorings.
  • Improve our website, app, and/or services.
  • Communicate with you.

From time to time, we may ask to use your information for research, training and other purposes. Your personal information that is not de-identified will only be used if you consent and only to the extent of your consent.
You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but this may limit the features of our website, app, or services. You can also opt out of receiving certain communications from us such as our newsletters and advertisements by emailto:babynoggin@Qidza.com. Please note that even if you opt-out, we may still send you some necessary communications.
If you submit a video of your child, we will score the video content by having one or more of our scoring technicians watch the video to complete their analysis, and we may have others review the results for quality assurance and other purposes related to your child’s scores.
In some cases, we may ask for your consent to add your Video Content to our Video Content Library, but we will not disclose the name of you or your Child in connection with your Video Content. Our use of our Video Content Library may include quality assurance efforts to enhance our scoring, correlation and other modeling and data analysis activities, and providing training, reference materials, demonstrations and other uses by us that are related to our business, but we will not provide access to your Video Content to any third party other than our subcontractors who have agreed to maintain your Video Content in confidence and only use it for their performance as our subcontractors.


(b) Visitor Information. As a non-registered visitor on our website, we use your information to:

  • Market services we believe may be of interest to you.
  • Respond to requests, resolve disputes, and/or troubleshoot problems.
  • Improve the quality of our website, app, and services.
  • Communicate with you.
  1. Anonymous Information and De-Identified Information. Anonymous or de-identified information is neither used nor intended to personally identify an individual. As part of our business practices, planning, and research, we may use anonymous information and de-identified information privately and publicly without restriction. For example, we may use cookies (small pieces of information sent by our website to your browser while you are viewing it) to keep you logged into our website, track your session history, and tailor content to you. Or we may use anonymous or de-identified information to analyze usage patterns so that we can enhance our services, and improve our content and your user experience.

  • To third parties who help us provide our services, including without limitation, scoring technicians, payment processors, and technical support vendors.
  • To third parties to whom you ask us to send such information.
  • To a parent company, subsidiaries, or other companies under common control with us. Rest assured, all of these affiliated parties will honor this Privacy Policy;
  • To a company that merges with us, acquires us, or purchases our assets, including in connection with a bankruptcy proceeding, in which case they may continue to process information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
  • If we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (i) resolve disputes, investigate problems, or enforce our Terms of Service; (ii) comply with relevant laws or to respond to requests from law enforcement or other government officials relating to investigations or alleged illegal activity, in which case we can (and you authorize us to) disclose personal information without subpoenas or warrants served on us; or (iii) protect and defend our rights or property or the rights and property of you or third parties.
  • Our Site and App utilize the leading web hosting service providers of Amazon and Google. Any information submitted is stored on Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) and AWS’s privacy policy applies. Further, any customer-service inquiries are first submitted through AWS and in turn sent to Qidza via its email provider, currently Google. In addition to being subject to AWS’s privacy policy, those email inquiries are subject to our email provider’s privacy policy.

And as part of our business practices, planning, and research, we may also disclose anonymous information and de-identified information publicly without restriction, and we have no obligation to remove anonymous or de-identified information from our records.

  1. Information You Share With Third Parties

This Privacy Policy addresses our use and disclosure of information. If you choose to share information with others—like your pediatrician or a teacher—different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of information. We do not control the policies of third parties and you are subject to their terms where applicable.
Also keep in mind that when you click on certain links, you may leave our website or app. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and we encourage you to read their privacy statements. You may also choose to provide information to other persons, and it is up to you to determine what is legal or appropriate to share.

  1. How You Can Change or Remove Your Information

We cannot verify, modify, or otherwise alter general visitor information and we will not verify, modify, or otherwise alter any registered user information without your consent. But we may correct any errors or modify any immaterial information at any time.
However, as a registered user, you can update your information through your account settings.
You can also request deletion of your personal information, but please note that we may be required (by law or otherwise) to keep some information and not delete it. Or in some cases, we may be required to keep information for a certain amount of time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements.
When we delete personal information, it is deleted from our active database, but may remain in our archives and we may also retain and continue to use anonymous and de-identified information as permitted under this Privacy Policy. Also, if you agree to have us share your personal information with third parties, we cannot access that personal information and cannot force the deletion or modification of any such information by those parties.

  1. How We Protect Your Information

The protected health information (as defined under HIPAA) in the system will be kept securely and encrypted. We implement reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial security methods that help protect against unauthorized access to personal information. However, we must acknowledge that there are risks inherent in sharing information, and while we try to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or guarantee the security of information you transmit to us. As a result, you provide any information to us at your own risk.

In accordance with the Do-Not-Track amendments to the California Online Privacy Protection Act, we inform you that we do not currently respond to “do not track” signals or similar messages from your browser.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll post revisions on this page and if we make any material changes to it, we’ll let you know by email. Please keep in mind that continuing to use our services means that you understand and agree to the terms of our most up-to-date Privacy Policy.
